Description

All 0-5 calorie teas are approved as a beverage. This includes any herbal teas, black teas, to-go packets, mix sticks, etc.  You may have as much as you'd like but they do not count as your water for the day.  If you are drinking caffeinated tea, you need to add extra water to your day to make up for the dehydrating effect caffeine has.  In other words, since the water requirement is 1/2 gallon - 1 gallon per day, if you have 8 oz of tea, then you should also have at least 1/2 gallon plus 8 oz of water in that day.
