I like to play the game of life. Not the board game. The real game of life. My game board is a twelve month calendar. I have always been able to visualize myself moving along a twelve month calendar and then when I get to December the game wraps up. I see myself moving back to the top left corner of the 12 month calendar to the month January to start again. Not until Shibboleth did I consider actually winning at the game. I was always playing the game but did not put much thought into winning it. NOW, I want to be winning the game when December 31 comes along, and I know the secrets and have the tools to do it. I know with all my heart that the Lord gave me the Shibboleth lifestyle so I could win the game. Last year, 2019, was my first year to live the Shibboleth lifestyle. I won big time last year. I lost 50 pounds, learned how to keep it off, and found my ministry platform educating our members on this amazing lifestyle. I have always wanted the Lord to show me where I could be used by Him. Prayer answered! As I begin the 2020 edition of the game of life, I am so thankful to know the secrets and have the tools I need to really be able to focus, strategize, and win the game. When it comes to weight loss, wellness, and winning, it is no longer a mystery on how to win. I started the month of January at 143, after 5 holidays in a row between Christmas and New Year's Day. I ended the month of January at 137. I used 9 of my 12 available maintenance holidays. I also did several 16 and 18 hours fasts. The game looks a little different this year since I started the year knowing how to truly live it when it comes to eating. I enjoy exercising my self-discipline muscle and like to encourage others to exercise theirs. I am so thankful for the balanced life that Shibboleth has created for me. I hope member and non-members alike are open to playing this game of life to the fullest with me using the Bible and the Shibboleth Shield as our rule books.
