Everyone under the law is made guilty before God. There is none good. No not one. Especially Me.
One can put their faith in the law and try to do good or one can be established in the law of faith in Jesus Christ and let go of a guilty conscience and be justified in the sight of God.
It’s hard to believe I can apprehend such a great salvation with faith in Christ without any work. It’s hard to believe that I can walk in peace and in love without having to DO anything but only believe in Christ.
Works follow faith.
I seek to do better today but not because I have to be justified before God. My faith in Jesus cleanses me. I seek to do better because I want to do better after all He has done for me.
He’s is my providence.
He heals my body.
He heals my mind.
He relieves me of guilt.
He takes away my judgment.
He sets me free and I’m free indeed.
He is healing my shibboleth.
He will heal my family.
Just for today, I will try to imitate Jesus.
I will fail. Every man falls short daily.
Yet, I am happy to worship Jesus; my provider, my security, and the lover of my soul by imitating Him as best as I can in the flesh.
They say that imitation is the greatest flattery so today I will try and dial into the frequency that is Christ with my sincerest imitation. I will do my best to imitate my hero before my wife and everyone I come in contact with. If I fall short, I will show myself grace in faith, get back up, and keep trying. My laboring head will hit its pillow Tuesday evening and my sleep shall be sweet.
I need a miracle and He supplies them for His beloved children. I expect one. I’ve received many. He is the giver of good gifts.
A testimony Tuesday, March 8, 2022.
