Hi Pastor Jim, My mother-in-law, Paul’s mom, has been in the hospital since Thursday. She has had three surgeries since Sunday evening to take care of blockages in the small intestines due to scar tissue from previous abdominal surgeries. She is sedated now for at least 2 more days. They have cut out the portion of the intestine that died and are waiting to join it together until after residual blood pressure medication is out of her system. They have not closed her after this last surgery. So we are waiting. She turned 80 two weeks ago. Thank you for your prayers for her. Jodi Atkinson, Mooresville, IN

Hello family, I’m having a CT scan on the 25th for a crackling in my lungs. I’m praying it is not a serious thing, but if it is I want to know about it. God knows already and can fix it with a mighty touch or a word. I trust Him. There have been many remedies that Drs are privy to. Maybe that is in God’ plan. I will praise him in everything as he walks me through it. His will be done. Thanks Shibby Family In Gods love.

Buds now being diagnosed with cancer. Biopsy in the next week . This has been a hard few months. You have all been a God Send to me
The update is stage 4 lung cancer. He is doing chemo once a week and radiation for severe back pain every day for 2 weeks. Thank you for the prayers . You are all a God send to me.

my 16 year old son who has spina bifida will be having a 3 hour MRI on Saturday. they are doing full brain and spine. we will follow up with the neurosurgeon on Wednesday. thank you all!! love and pray daily for my Shibboleth family!

This prayer request is from Melissa Wetherington. Melissa's niece, Beth Anne and her husband, Wesley, are at Emory. Beth Anne is giving Wesley a kidney. They are a young couple at 23 and 24 years of age. Please pray for a successful surgery, that Wesley's body receives the kidney well, and for swift and complete recovery for both of them.
They are doing very well!! Thank you. She is back wt work. His kidney function is good. The meds and stuff are a little difficult to get accustomed to but we are incredibly Blessed!

Praise the Lord Beth Anne had been discharged. We will continue to pray for their recovery.
BA was discharged yesterday and Wesley may be today or tomorrow. He is still struggling with some pain and anxiety but kidney is good!

This prayer request is from Samantha Golightly that she asked me to share because they are without power in Texas because of the storm. Please pray for her and her family as they are dealing wit the loss of family members in the last months, their son leaves for the Army tomorrow, and for all of the families affected by the storm. Also, that they will get back to the healthy lifestyle after these hard months.
Samantha does have hot water and power now. She is thanking God for things that she took for grant before. Thank you for her prayers.

Thank you so much! I will keep you updated. Right now they are still waiting for her blood pressure to stay consistent where they need it to be. They are also trying to get her swelling down before another surgery.
