I have Type 2 Diabetes and severe Neuropathy in my feet from the uncontrolled blood sugar. Joined Shibboleth and am trying to learn about it and the food combinations. I have to get healthier. I ask for prayers for success in this journey. I don’t know how to get started really but am trying to watch videos and learn. Thanks for your prayers and support. I am excited to begin this new lifestyle.

I have just joined this group. I am very excited about a true lifestyle change! I weigh the most I have ever weighed. I am experiencing extreme back pain and knee pain. I know that my being overweight is a big contributor. I am tired of being weak and giving into what I know is wrong. I know that my body is a gift from God and I am not taking care of it. This is a matter of walking daily with my Father and allowing Him to do what He does best! I am like anyone else, I crave encouragement and prayers. I want to be one who encourages and lifts others up in this journey of weight lose.Thank you for this opportunity!

Hi i just started day one, I have battled my weight since i had my children they both just turned 30 and 22 yes this is how long i have been battling weight ! I’m at my biggest I have ever been. I have lost my mom just a few months ago unexpected! I have thyroid and insulin resistance and my son is getting married next year and I want to have this weight off ! I have over 100 PhD to lose! I’m a Christian and I know God will guide me their this ! Please pray for me and help me learn this new weight loss system!
Father, learning is a daily experience and I ask that Stephi learn the program and live it daily even as she walk with You. She desires to make a substantial weight loss but we also know that if we commit our way to You and trust in You, YOU WILL DO IT! May her trust grow greater daily just as her understanding grows greater!

Please pray for me and my Shibboleth journey. I'm almost half-way to my goal (this is a Praise!). This is the most weight I have lost in I don't even know how many years, but at least 20 years. I have found myself in a habitual pattern of losing around 50 lbs and then starting to cheat and gaining it all back before I get to my goal. I am now past the 50 lb mark. My husband and I went out of town twice last month and I went way above my 6 holiday's for the month. I've been back on track so far for September - but it hasn't been easy at times. I'm asking prayers for the strength to finish what I start (for the 1st time in my life) and to NOT let past patterns repeat themselves. Thank you to my Shibboleth Family.
Mighty Father, Deann has asked for strength to endure not only to lose the weight but to keep it off. You know Father this is the desire of all our Shibboleth family and we claim this victory in Jesus name for this precious child.

I ask, Lord, that this sister realize that You are her strength and song; her ever present help in time of trouble. Help her to realize that its okay to lack understanding at first, We all did. But help her also to realize understanding comes with learning. Guide her through the videos so that she will gain that understanding and help her to realize that the Shibboleth family as well as You are seeking victory for her!

Father God I ask for healing for Nursecarter's foot. I ask for relief from any pain she may have and that she can use this time to seek you and walk closer with You. Help her to maximize this time in You and not get discouraged. I claim her healing because You are our salvation and we will trust in you and not be afraid because You are our strength and song and You are our salvation. Protect her and uphold her in Your righteous hand .

Today is my first day doing Shibboleth, anytime I’ve ever started a diet I’m always full force on the first day and then it goes back downhill. So please pray, that how I feel today does not go away.
Oh, Father, You know how difficult first things can be. Help this sister to realize her successes in past "first" things and grant her comfort and peace as she faces this new lifestyle. May she always seek You and Your righteousness first and help her to realize all these things (weight loss and maintenance) will be hers because You will grant this gift to her. Thank you for what You are doing and what You are going to do in her life.

Don't give up! I am new myself with some of the same issues. I don't understand either but I prayed before I started and I know God will give us the understanding and the will power to do this. I look forward to hearing your success story!
