Please add Cynthia R. to your prayer list. Cynthia has been my best friend for 22+ years. She has a brain tumor that I honestly cannot remember what it's called but there's about 20-something letters in the name of it. The doctors discovered the tumor about 8 years ago, but it took 3-4 years before it was officially diagnosed and before they really knew how to appropriately treat it/perform surgery on it. Surgery and recovery was very hard. She had to re-learn how to speak, use her hands, and other normal motor functions. She has had a long recovery but in the last several years, she's been living a remarkably 'normal' life. She doesn't drive due to seizure medication and vision issues but she lives on her own and is incredibly independent. A little over a month ago, she went in for a semi annual check up, and the tumor (what was left of it after the last surgery) has grown back. On a positive note, it's more of a ball that should be relatively easy to get to, to remove. (Last time it was very octopus-like with tentacles that were difficult to remove.) The doctors think that because of its shape this time, that it will be an easier surgery and recovery than last time, even though it's bigger; however, she's still extremely concerned, given the circumstances. Best case scenario, they expect her to be home for 3 weeks recovering, not sitting in front of a computer and hurting her eyes and vision. Surgery is scheduled for Monday, March 12. Thank you!
I just got word from Cynthia's family: "All done! All went well, as planned. She has a black eye, a fat lip, and a pretty bad headache, but gives a thumbs up. :) " From what she told me, that actually went in through her mouth, above her teeth/gum line, and near her sinus cavity, which likely explains the black eye and fat lip. This is a great report. I'll let y'all know as I get more info.

To everyone that has been so kind and faithful to pray for me, I want to say thank you. We did go into foreclosure and the house was auctioned last week. However, our Father led us to a nice apartment community that accepted all the animals. as well, this complex was running a special and all the deposits and fees were waived We were able to move in with the cash we had on hand. Now that's divine intervention! I was and am so thankful to our Lord When the leasing agent put me in the golf cart and drove down the street to the townhouse I looked at the cross street. It was Priceless and Cherished. I begin to cry and she asked me what was wrong. I said nothing is wrong but everything is right. I'm living at the corning of Priceless and Cherished. And that is exactly what we are to Him so much so Jesus gave himself in our place. Melissa Levi

I need prayers. I have been struggling with my weight for years. I’m on blood pressure and cholesterol medicine. I joined Shibboleth about three weeks ago and I’m not doing very well. I’m finding it very hard to stay on track. I’m praying for discipline and guidance.
You got this! Just keep on keeping on and remember your WHY and your desire for better health results must be stronger than your excuses.
keep it simple, don't give up I found when I started I may not have had perfect days cause I had to wean myself from the bad things, but everyday I was eating healthier than the previous day and the weight was coming off, you'll get there.

Hello, I've struggled with my weight for MANY years now and need GOD's divine intervention, not only in my diet, but my life in general. I joined this great group this afternoon and look forward to the success of the program, as well as, meeting new friends along the way. This is my first week trying Shibboleth. I'm very excited, but you know Satan's Job is to Steal,Kill, and Destroy. I would ask that you pray for me to find my way to success with this program. I have never overcome temptations and I have never managed to be consistent. I have a WHY but I seem to forget to care about anything. I think I am in a very tough place that I can't figure out how to get out of on my own. Everyday. I. Just. Want. To. Eat. I hate this. I can ask the Lord for help all day, but I have to be willing to change. With me, that desire to change is going to have to be SO BIG, because I am weak. It feels like a literal physical struggle that hurts. I want to succeed. Thanks to anyone who prays for me.
Father, as You said in Your Words, whether we eat or drink, we do it for Your glory. Please help Melissa have the will and the determination to please You in her life. Your grace is more than enough and that she can do all things through Jesus Christ our Lord. Bless her indeed that she may become a good steward of her physical body as she continue to live for You. thank you all for your prayers, Jenna stayed three days at Peachford and learned some coping skills. today, she is well and smiling again. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
