Hunger and Eating Cues




Thank you! Here is our recommendation...

You might occasionally eat more than you would like, but it does not appear to be a high responsiveness to environmental cues. Controlling the attitudes that make you eat may be especially helpful. We recommend that you start with the Shibboleth Phase 1 program, watch all of the Daily Doses in your video library and then go into the Shibboleth Phase 2 Classes in order to work on emotional eating. Mount Shibboleth Phase 3 boot camps would be a good class for you, but only after receiving your certificate for completion of the Phase 1 program.

You may have a moderate tendency to eat just because food is available. Dieting may be easier for you if you try to resist external cues and eat only when you are physically hungry. We recommend that you start with the Shibboleth Phase 1 program with Daily Doses and then go into the Shibboleth Phase 2 Classes in order to work on emotional eating. Mount Shibboleth Phase 3 boot camps would be a good class for you, but only after receiving your certificate for completion of the Phase 1 program.

Some or most of your eating may be in response to thinking about food or exposing yourself to temptations to eat. Think of ways to minimize your exposure to temptations, so that you eat only in response to physical hunger. We recommend that you begin with the Shibboleth Phase 1/ 24 Daily Doses program. You can do anything for 24 Days. You can keep self promises in the short term, build momentum, and prepare for long term success. We want you to feel success and the Daily Doses have have been established to give everyone an opportunity to be successful and feel successful again before embarking on a longer term program.
