This is the kind of awesome story that puts wind in my sails. God's people helping one another. We are the household of faith and if we don't help one another then folks that need help won't get the help and encouragement they need. Thanks for sharing Shibboleth but more importantly thanks for sharing the gospel of peace.

You say you want to lose weight, but your actions indicate something a little different. Someone just told me that they are praying about losing weight. Praying about what? Stop praying and get up off your butt. Fix this. The Bible said to cast all of your care upon Him, it didn't say to cast your rear end on the couch while eating enough to feed a small country.

Don't preach down to the alcoholic, the drunk, the drug addict, the adulterer, the curse mouth, the perverted, or the porn addict about their addiction when your own addiction has got chains on you too! Clean up your own house and then maybe the rest of us sinners will listen to you. Well done is better than well said. There are no degrees of sin. Sin is sin. Anything between you and the abundant life the Lord wants you to have is hurting you. No tolerance for accusations. We are all in the same boat and in need of understanding, love, and prayer. Preach up to people and not down to them. ‪#‎blessthenameofthelord‬and do your best. Your sleep will be sweeter. Food addiction is hurting you.

It's not just comfort foods and weekend treats tempting folks! It's also the allure of quitting. Quitting gives you immediate pleasure, just like the instant gratification from over indulging in food. Yet, comes with lasting emotional pain. If you want to lose weight you don't have to give up all of your favorite foods. However, You will have to scratch from your vocabulary the words "I Quit." Overcome the urge to quit. Test your own faith. Find out if you really do believe what you say that you believe. Let's see if you really believe the stuff you tell your kids and grandkids about not quitting. Well done is better than well said. Stop quitting.

The thing you think you can't do is the very thing that you need to go and do. I just finished up my 90th hour on the mats. Yes, I journal everything. After 90 hours I've learned humility and I've learned there's a lot I haven't learned. Enjoying having my arse handed to me. I'm a sick man but a happy man.

I know you can do this! There are two of you. One is born of the flesh and the other is born of the Spirit. Which will you let lead?Lose the weight and rid yourself of the unintended consequences of being over weight. You can do it! I know you can.

We can and will help you. You supply the willing and wanting heart and we will do the rest.

Gods plans for you are greater than your own plans for yourself. I never imagined doing the first grocery tour, let alone planning for grocery tours all over the world. We never thought that our day would include conferencing with multiple languages, learning new languages, learning about the macro nutrient profiles of foods from all over the world for our members living in those countries, etc. I never imagined work keeping me up until 1 am and having me spring from bed excited at 430 am. Life is quite an adventure. The world is getting smaller and more connected by the second. Conference call with Shibboleth family all over the world, done. Now time for Jiu Jitsu; Roll, Fetal,Tap, breakfast, filming and all before 10 am. What will this day hold?‪#‎tcb‬‪#‎blessthenameofthelord‬‪#‎bodybyshibboleth‬‪#‎shibboleth‬‪#‎noexcuses‬ Stay Perfect and stay busy my friends. An idle mind is a hungry mind and a haven for the …

I want to get better at Jiu Jitsu and better at life. These guys challenge me, sharpen me, coach me, teach me and kick my butt almost daily. I'm learning a lot about life, myself, about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and much about what it takes to be successful. It takes PRESSURE. Constant pressure. I am also learning fatigue makes cowards of us all. Working on conditioning and stamina. I'm getting older but I ain't done all that I came here to do.
