We are striving for a perfect day.
After two perfect days, we are in EFB - efficient fat burning.
After we have a holiday, it takes two days to get back into EFB.
What is written here is how to get back into EFB faster.
Remember with a holiday whether you lick the cheese dust off of a Dorito or have a hog trough day that it is still a holiday. This is fine because they are allowed.
In weight loss mode, 24-25 perfect days following the rules of our system are needed for weight loss.
On a holiday, you can eat whatever you want as much as you want, but as you continue in your journey, it is best to have a holimeal rather than a full out hog trough day.
Up to 6 holidays are allowed in weight loss mode.
Up to 12 holidays are allowed in maintenance mode.
There are different types of perfect days.
In your journal, you will now see these other types of days listed.
There is an intermittent fasting day - IMF. This is the type of day that can really, really speed up your results. (no grazing between meals, 2-3 meals in a day, minimum 12 hours without anything with calories, shooting for 16, you could even go for 20, this doesn't have to mean you are having nothing, it means that you aren't having anything that is hard on the digestive system)
A WOW day can also speed up results.
A good strategy is to do a WOW day or IMF day when you have lost your momentum or have had a holiday.
The WOW day or a true IMF day will get you back into EFB in one day rather than 2 days because insulin is being neutralized at a much faster pace.
The next type of day is a clean eating day called a Divine Day. We are taking a break from artificial substances. This doesn't mean that is has to be just plant based. You can choose to have meat or eliminate it. Even doing a divine day 5-6 times a month is beneficial.
Our body is able to process what goes into it. What our body is not able to process is gluttony.
When we give our lymphatic system and liver a break from all of these toxins, the body is able to heal and recover faster.
A Divine Day isn't necessarily a day that speeds up weight loss, but it is a day that speeds up wellness.

The virus obstructs respiratory pathways with thick mucus that solidifies and blocks the airways and lungs. In order to apply medicine, you have to open and unblock these airways so the treatment can be used and take effect. However, all of this takes a number of days.

Suggestions for safeguarding yourself are:
1. Drink lots of hot liquids - coffee, soups, teas, warm water. In addition, take a sip of warm water every 20 minutes because this keeps you mouth moist and washes any virus that may have entered your mouth into your stomach where the gastric juices can neutralize it before it can get to the lungs.
2. Gargle with an antiseptic in warm water (example, vinegar, salt, lemon) every day if possible.
3. The virus attaches itself to hair and clothes. Any detergent or soap kills it, but you must take a bath or shower when you get home. Avoid sitting down anywhere and go straight to the bathroom or shower. If you cannot wash your clothes daily, hang them in direct sunlight which also neutralizes the virus.
4. Wash metallic surfaces very carefully as the virus can remain viable on these surfaces up to 9 days. Be vigilant about touching handrails and door handles. etc. Keep them clean in your own house as well be wiping them down and keeping them cleaned regularly.
5. Don't smoke.
6. Wash your hands for 20 seconds every 20 minutes using any soap that foams.
7. Eat fruits and vegetables. Elevate your zinc levels as well as vitamin C levels.
8. Animals do not spread the virus to people. It is person to person transmission.
9. Try to avoid getting the common flu.
10. Try to avoid eating and drinking cold things.
11. If you feel any discomfort in your throat or a sore throat coming on, attack it immediately using the above methods. The virus enters the system this way and remains for 3-4 days in the throat before it passes into the lungs.

Shibboleth Lifestyle Observations (from the following points above)
1. Drink lots of hot liquids - coffee, soups, teas, warm water. In addition, take a sip of warm water every 20 minutes because this keeps you mouth moist and washes any virus that may have entered your mouth into your stomach where the gastric juices can neutralize it before it can get to the lungs.
a. We are drinking lots of water already. Maybe you just want to warm it up and schedule to drink it every 20 minutes. Rewarm if needed.
b. Some Shibboleth items we have in the store that would be nice to drink warm.
1. Biocoffee
2. Cocoringa
3. Healthwise cappuccino and hot chocolates - all flavors
4. Healthwsie high protein soups - all flavors
5. AHS Fulfill bouillon chicken flavored
c. Coffee and tea are warm drinks. (They are also freebies when sweetened properly.)
2. Gargle with an antiseptic in warm water (example, vinegar, salt, lemon) every day if possible.
a. Use one of the suggested items diluted in warm water to gargle.
1. You could use Bragg's ACV. We have that in the Shibboleth store.
7. Eat fruits and vegetables. Elevate your zinc levels as well as vitamin C levels.
a. Any category 2 fibrous carb veggie works fine with your meals.
b. If you would like to add fruits, in weight loss mode, just remember to combine it properly.
c. Fruits, in maintenance mode, can be eaten as a serving for your snack by itself.
10. Try to avoid eating and drinking cold things.
a. Well, this just stopped by diet devil duel about wanting ice cream. LOL
b. I'm just going to warm up my drinks.

Alternative Ideas to Get in More Warm Drinks:
Example: Before, you were having a Chocorite patty as an extra. Now, have a Cocoringa instead.
Example: Before, you were having a Grab the Gold bar as a snack. Now, have 2 packets of HWHC.
Example: Before, you were having UMP as a MR. Now, have 3 packets as a MR.

NOTE: None of the suggestions I am making have been approved by the Shibboleth team or the FDA or anyone else. I am just blogging my thoughts based on the audio file I received which is transcribed into the points listed above. Hoping it might help someone. Love you all!

Another note: I had the outline all nice and pretty, but the blog aligned it all to the left. Educator in me be like what!? LOL All that work to make a nice outline, and it automatically aligned to the left when I posted! Bummer!

I like to play the game of life. Not the board game. The real game of life. My game board is a twelve month calendar. I have always been able to visualize myself moving along a twelve month calendar and then when I get to December the game wraps up. I see myself moving back to the top left corner of the 12 month calendar to the month January to start again. Not until Shibboleth did I consider actually winning at the game. I was always playing the game but did not put much thought into winning it. NOW, I want to be winning the game when December 31 comes along, and I know the secrets and have the tools to do it. I know with all my heart that the Lord gave me the Shibboleth lifestyle so I could win the game. Last year, 2019, was my first year to live the Shibboleth lifestyle. I won big time last year. I lost 50 pounds, learned how to keep it off, and found my ministry platform educating our members on this amazing lifestyle. I have always wanted the Lord to show me where I could be used by Him. Prayer answered! As I begin the 2020 edition of the game of life, I am so thankful to know the secrets and have the tools I need to really be able to focus, strategize, and win the game. When it comes to weight loss, wellness, and winning, it is no longer a mystery on how to win. I started the month of January at 143, after 5 holidays in a row between Christmas and New Year's Day. I ended the month of January at 137. I used 9 of my 12 available maintenance holidays. I also did several 16 and 18 hours fasts. The game looks a little different this year since I started the year knowing how to truly live it when it comes to eating. I enjoy exercising my self-discipline muscle and like to encourage others to exercise theirs. I am so thankful for the balanced life that Shibboleth has created for me. I hope member and non-members alike are open to playing this game of life to the fullest with me using the Bible and the Shibboleth Shield as our rule books. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for walking with me hand-in-hand. The game is so much better with you by my side, and I thank you for Your gift of Shibboleth. All honor and glory are Yours.

I really like the 21 day challenge. I am wondering if it's because I like to do perfect days anyway until a vacation or out of town trip.

I am getting used to ordering grilled chicken salad at restaurants. I never ordered them before because I thought (and still think) they are too expensive, or I wanted to eat something that I would not make myself at home. Even though I don't really want to, I have been ordering them anyway and getting used to it.

Off to day 2 tomorrow. :)

I’m very excited to have lost 10% of my bodyweight. I’m also excited that is the last day of my first 21 day challenge. Today is Mother’s Day. We will go to church this morning, but after that, I don’t know what the day looks like yet.

I will still have perfect days until we leave for the wedding in IL.

The challenge is over, but I’m still going perfect!

Day 20 of my first 21 day challenge.

I’m doing the swift Cantrell 5K this morning. I probably should not have eaten half of that English muffin with my breakfast of two eggs and extra light cheese this morning. I’ll find out how it goes later. UPDATE: Glad I ate plenty. I would have been very weak after. After this, we are going to the Avengers Endgame. I do not have lunch or dinner planned but I will figure it out.

I made a double chocolate Mighty Muffin to take with me and eat in the theater. I also took a Bragg’s apple cider vinegar limeade. Tim and Jackson had Chick-fil-A after the movie. Then we went to Kroger to pick up some 96% lean ground beef and for dinner I made a taco salad.

Day 19 of my first 21 day challenge.

Having two scoops of Beverly UMP cookies and cream this morning rather than one. Enjoying my new Hamilton Beach single serving blender.

Having a shake this morning then I’m going to take Daisy to the groomer, go to the Kennesaw Business Association membership committee meeting, go to the Acworth farmers market, and then have lunch with Liz. At lunch, I’ll have Romain lettuce with chicken on it. I’m not sure right now what I’m going to do for dinner, but as long as it’s not raining, we’re going to go to Smoke on the Lake in Acworth tonight.

I’ll be IMFing tonight and need to get my water in early today so I don’t have to find bathrooms tonight.

UPDATE: Had MM for dinner. They always hold me through.

May 10, 2019

Day 18 of the 21 day challenge. I’ve done two days of Beverly shake twice a day and a meal. I’m very weak this morning.

I asked a question and found out I should do two scoops for the shake not one. I was doing one. No wonder I was so weak this morning.

I’m really getting ready to be done with the 21 day challenge, but I won’t quit.

May 9, 2019

Day 17 of my first 21 day challenge. It’s been a slow one pound weight loss for this most recent pound.

15 hours IMFed since 4:30 yesterday.

UMP for breakfast. Then I’ll go to ARS weekly meeting. I’ll come home and make something before I go to the Cherokee Chamber picnic. Then I’ll have UMP for dinner for church.

We will see how today goes.

I’m going to bed really hungry and ready to complete the 21 day challenge and just be on regular Shibboleth, but I’m still doing slim down, too. At least on the slim down challenge, I’ll get a holiday once a week.

May 8, 2019

Day 16 of my first 21 day challenge. A little disappointed this morning. I lost two pounds last week but felt like it should have been more. I also had not been regular at all (I think MM may be the culprit of that.) so I drank a senna hot tea on Sunday night. It worked and I went to the restroom several times yesterday and was still perfect. I thought that would have taken care of some of the weight that was hanging around in my gut, but it didn’t. I weigh .5 pound more today. I don’t really worry about that. I just see it as not losing.

I don’t really want to eat less than I have been, but I do want to get the weight off quickly so I’m going to try the Beverly UMP shake some this week.

With God’s help and my determination, I can do this.

I IMFed a little over 17 hours From yesterday afternoon until this morning’s breakfast.

I had two UMP shakes this afternoon and started IMF at 4:30ish.

Went to a WCBA After Hours tonight. I passed on the food.
