Please say a prayer this Easter weekend for my friend and pastors mom Brenda Jones. A few weeks ago, one Sunday after church while taking a nap, she had a stroke. This woman is such a saint and has ministered to all those she's come in contact with in the hospital, rehab and now at the Brian House in Canton. It has been her prayer since this happened, to be able to come to Easter service at the new location for The Pointe Church (which we as a congregation prayed over for months and months) and to go to lunch at her home with her family. This would be the first outing for her since her stroke. She is getting stronger every day but still has little use of her left side. You can only imagine the emotions both hurt and joy of going though the doors of your home in a wheel chair for the first time. Please lift Brenda, husband William and the entire Jones family up to Almighty God for His immeasurable strength and blessings on such good and faithful folks. He is Risen! Praise Jesus!

Brenda Jones was rolled into service yesterday at The Pointe Church to everyone standing, clapping and cheering for her. She cried and cried. It was wonderful to see her and what a blessing. She was excited to get to go home for lunch and take a nap in her sleep number bed. Apparently that was one of the things she asked for repeatedly right after the stroke when she wasn't so awake. Thank you for praying for my friend and if you think of her, continue to lift her up as she continues to recover and trust in God's perfect will. Praise Him!!!
