My father passed away last week after a long and painful fight with renal cancer. I am his only surviving child, my only brother having passed away many years ago. His main concern was always for the well-being of this family, and on his last day on this earth, I promised him that I would always take care of them. Please pray for my mother, and my wife and children, that they might be comforted in their grief, and that the Lord might renew my health through this new work, and give me the strength to fulfill my promise. I feel blessed to have found you and to be among you, and pray that He will shine His light on you.

Lord, we lift you up this family right now who lost a loved one. Lord, I pray that You would be in the midst of their grief. That they would find You Lord despite this darkness in their life now. Grant them the peace that passes all understanding. Renew all their strength Lord and increase their faith and hope in You. Help them to trust in You and that You are still in complete control. You are still on Your throne even if we are in our darkest. Bless them Lord and seal them with Your love. Provide all their needs according to Your riches and glory in Christ Jesus. We thank you for everything and we bring You back all the glory and praises in Jesus' name, amen.
