Hummus is a superfood and can be eaten alone (up to 200 calories as a category 6) or with a category 2 (vegetables are best for weight loss). You can also have 1/4 cup hummus with category 2 vegetables like broccoli, celery, etc. as an extra or use up to 2 tbls as a condiment.
1/4 cup hummus with an approved portion of beanitos or other approved chips counts as your extra and your snack for the day.
